Del Pedregoso Lodge: 15kms from Cholila were Butch Cassidy y Sundance Kid lived on the first years of the XX century. The lodge is on Caleufu River and Cholila lake mouth. The lodge has 9 bedrooms with private bathrooms. A living and dinning room with a view to the Caleufu River, Cholila Lake and Cordillera de los Andes. Home made food with meats from the area, vegetables and fruits from their own green garden. A typical Argentinean food.

Fly Fishing

Many different kind of waters around the lodge and the Los Alerces National Park we can fish.

Cholila Lake witch waters from the glaciers like most of the lakes from Patagonia Cordillera de los Andes.  

Caleufu River born in front of the lodge, with 35kms long, we fish wading or floating with rafts.

We can fish principally landlocked salmon and rainbows.

The waters run through Rivadavia Lake.

Rivadavia River, one of the most beautiful rivers in the world, with incredible views. It has 10Kms. Long and finish into the Verde Lake.

This river it can only be float, because we don’t have access.

We fish most rainbows also browns and landlocked.

We stop in the middle of the river, fishing Alarcón Spring Creek, with transparent and slow waters, making a challenge for the fly fishing. 

The roll cast is the usual technique.

I suggest rods #4, #5 and #6, to fish this different water.
