Between Hua Hum and Falkner lake, it’s one of the most spectacular valleys on the area and Estancia Tres Lagos it’s there. In the bottom of the valley runs Filo Hua Hum River.

This river flow through private property, Estancia 3 Lagos, restricting access to would be anglers, while providing great protection for the trout that inhabit it.

This valley is home to abundant wildlife, which include red deer, wild boar, mountain lion and several species of Patagonian fowl.

Comfortable and cozy cabins with private bathroom, lake and river view inside of the estancia, is the lodging to the fly fishermen during the stay. The main house of the estancia is the dinning room  

Fly Fishing

Filo Hua Hum River in addition to its beauty, one of the main features is its clear mostly calm waters flowing down meanders and deep pools and banks. 

Reeds close to the beginning of the river make the site perfect for the dry fly fishing.

One of the most productive spots is close of the mouth, where it flows into Filo Hua Hum Lake. Quiet waters with brown trout needs cautions for the anglers.

Different is waters below the lake, flows rapidly with runs and riffles, till it joins Meliquina River to give rise to the Caleufu River.
