Estancia El Manantial de Paso Flores

 
Typical estancia of the Patagonia steppe. From the beginning of XX century, this estancia is run and has been worked by a big German family. They have their own green garden and cattle, in this way we can have an excellent farm meals, with typical products of the zone. There are rooms with private bathroom, looking to the farm.
Warm swimming pool to enjoy after having a fishing day. Horses are always available to ride.

Llamas, guanacos, ñandues, red deer and condors are some of the wild animals we can see, in our way to the petrified trees.

Fly fishing

The Pichi Leufu River (“small river” in Indian native language) typical of the plains, that goes into the “estancia” for many miles, flow into Piedra del Aguila Lake. It’s narrow and shallow; is easy to wade without problems. We can fish rainbows, browns and native perch with the light equipments (#4 or #5) and dry flies. The Piedra del Aguila Lake has deep bays that we can fish big brown trouts.
